I would like to share my last couple of months so you may have an understanding of why I have not been working.
In October this year I was diagnosed with Right Breast Cancer. It has been a soul searching, enriching and life changing time since then.
I have been looking to ways I can help myself with the guidance and support of integrative oncology, friends and family. Many of the integrative oncology treatments are only available on the East Coast and so I have spent half of my time there. Fortunately I have been guided through beautifully.
During this time, the palpable lump reduced to half the original size. When I chose to have surgery, I was ready mentally, emotionally and physically.
I write to you 2 weeks after my operation with minimal pain and my whole body and spirit are able to completely heal now. There are ups and downs but I am getting better day by day.
The journey to wellness continues. Each step in overcoming breast cancer requires patience and I am learning to appreciate the here and now. As treatments are needed I may have to take time off, so your understanding during this time will mean a lot to me. I will gradually practice acupuncture again and will be in touch in the near future.
In the meantime, I would like to keep connected with you through this blog. Here you can check in with my wellness adventure. My wish is that by sharing my journey, it may help your own path and others.
Wishing you and your family a Joyful, happy and healthy new year 2018.
Love and Blessings,
