Wikipedia defines synchronicity as events that are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related.
This concept was first suggested by psychologist Carl Jung who dedicated a book to the whole experience.
Moments of synchronicity always bring an elated wonderment and joy to my life and in recent times when I needed to feel more alive is when they have been occurring more than ever before.
My recent time was when I was travelling over East at the Brunswick Heads markets looking at frankincense incense when a Qigong and Acupuncture friend stands beside me asking for the same incense. And so our worlds collided when we looked at each other in amazement. My friend mentioned that he never usually goes to the markets, but just felt like he wanted to. And so we spent the rest of the day smiling in awe.
I believe these events are waiting to be discovered. Synchronicity gives me the sense of being interconnected and open to infinite possibilities. And that is a wonderful thing!
