I believe in a wholistic approach of prevention and symptom control, chinese and western medicine, mind and body and spirit to enable people to have enriching and fulfilling lives.
My medical career began over 20 years ago with a focus on developing strong diagnostic and integrative treatment options.
I am a graduate from University of Western Australia and then worked in Hospital Emergency, Occupational Medicine and Wellness, Surgical Assisting, Medical Acupuncture and completed my General Practice training in a holistic General Practice in Rural Victoria, Torquay.
Currently based in Fremantle, Western Australia and have worked locums in rural WA, QLD, NSW and VIC. My special interests include Women's Health, Endometriosis, Preventative Lifestyle medicine, Plant based medicine, Gut health, Mind - Body medicine, Immune system regulation, Pain management, and Musculoskeletal Conditions.
My Acupuncture training began in 2010 with the Australian Medical Acupuncture College. I have undertaken further training in Japan with Anaesthetist Dr Yamamoto who specialises in YNSA Scalp Acupuncture. This has remarkable benefits for pain and neuromuscular conditions.
I also enjoyed training with Soma Glick at the Bali Women’s and Children’s shonishin clinic was a wonderful opportunity to deepen my interest in this area.
I enjoy meeting people and believe laughter and compassion is good medicine. Seeing people change for the better is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
It is wonderful to work with people that are interested in improving their wellbeing.
