Ziran Qigong for stress and anxiety release It is through this practice that the Qi Gong practitioner can learn to identify areas in the body of emotional stress and anxiety. With qigong movements in conjunction with breathing methods it is possible to open ones pathways and learn to release physical and emotional tension. Learn to release blockages within the body and let your Qi flow helping to make a greater connection of mind, body and spirit. Ziran Nei Yang Gong - qing jing gong This workshop concentrates on internal 'natural' and 'reverse' breathing methods. These techniques use the breath to open and strengthen one's main Qi fields and meridians, respiratory muscles and spine to make your main energy river - the microcosmic orbit flow smoothly.
Sunday workshop: When: 10am - 5pm Sunday 11th October (INCLUDES 1 HOUR LUNCH BREAK) Venue: Cottesloe Civic Centre, Lesser Hall, 109 Broome St Cottesloe WA 6011.
舒筋清经功(Shu Jin Qing Jing Gong) Tendon & Meridian Cleansing Method (Recognition) The traditional Chinese name for this form is "An Qiao (按跷)" which translates as massage and stretching.
The practitioner will undertake exercises involving gentle stretching and cleansing of the body’s tendons and energy meridians to stimulate the circulation of the Qi and blood allowing muscles and joints to relax. The goal of stage one is to obtain a meditative state of relaxation through movement and to create an interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit.
As the practitioner becomes more efficient at relaxed interconnected movement and enters the meditative emotional state required they will most likely be able to feel subtle physiological sensations such as increased blood flow to the palms or feet or a tingling sensation along meridians. This is known as “floating” the Qi.
