Being Mindful

We are currently at a time where the forces of nature are creating uncertainty and concern. Australia is experiencing unpredictable fires, we watch the impact of the novel coronovirus on the world and statistics indicate that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. It is at this time where my nervous system needs to be calmed. I am finding doing more mindfulness meditation practice helps me to make sense of all this news. Finding quiet contemplative and restorative moments such as walking looking at greenery, listening to the birds, reading a good book, deep breathing to list a few certainly helps with better sleep and wellness in turbulent times.
